It’s experience that was gained through working in-house in corporate affairs for BP and ANZ, writing newsletters and marketing communication materials for community organisations, taking on freelance editing and proofreading assignments, studying journalism and professional writing/editing, and more recently though her interest in family history writing.

As we help our clients, Alison helps us. She handles the internal and contract administration at farrierswier and ensures that everything runs smoothly. She also provides writing, copyediting and communication input to client work.

Alison has a breadth of experience in this area.  Whether she is editing lengthy technical business reports or crafting social media posts, she applies the same focused attention to detail to every assignment she takes on. Alison has skills in writing, copyediting, the strategic targeting of communication to specific audiences, and proofreading. She has helped businesses, community organisations and individuals find the words that really say what they mean, and has tidied up their words when they need it.
